Went to a different gym to train this morning. Cleans were cut short by the AC’s newly implemented “quiet hours” that basically prohibit you from using the Oly platforms between certain times. 

I talked to one of the gym staff and he literally told me, as he was putting signs on the platforms, “If it’s not on the platforms, I don’t give a shit.” Meanwhile, three feet away, a guy was doing trap bar deads with 100 kilos on the bar, dropping the whole fucking thing onto the ground at each rep. Bad enough that the AC only has four platforms that are always highly in demand; now your “high performance facility” is shutting them down for three hour stretches because it interferes with a Pilates class? I get that people need a safe, quiet space for certain activities, but it hardly seems logical to shut the entire thing down when it doesn’t keep people from making noise (if not more noise) than they would under the previously existing circumstances.
